10 AM EDT MONDAY...
The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Freezing Rain
Advisory...which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to 10 AM EDT
* HAZARD TYPES...Freezing rain.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...Up to one quarter of an inch.
* TIMING...Freezing rain may begin as early as this evening,
increasing in intensity by Monday morning. Temperatures will
warm and freezing rain will change to rain Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Freezing rain will cause roadways to become very
slick, leading to dangerous travel conditions. Ice accumulation
on trees will weigh down limbs and could snap small branches.
* WINDS...east 5 to 10 mph.
* TEMPERATURES...In the lower 30s.
A Freezing Rain Advisory means that periods of freezing rain or
freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while driving.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 8 PM THIS EVENING TO
5 PM EDT MONDAY...
The National Weather Service in Gray has issued a Winter Weather
Advisory for snow...sleet...and freezing rain...which is in
effect from 8 PM this evening to 5 PM EDT Monday.
* HAZARD TYPES...Snow, sleet, and freezing rain.
* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 3
inches...along with up to one quarter of an inch of ice.
* TIMING...Precipitation will begin as a period of snow late this
evening and will change to sleet and freezing rain overnight
tonight and into the day on Monday. Temperatures are expected to
warm during the day on Monday, changing precipitation to rain
for most areas. However, wintry precipitation could continue
into Monday night in the western Maine Mountains.
* IMPACTS...Snow, sleet, and freezing rain will cause difficult
travel conditions. Freezing rain will make driving particularly
dangerous due to slick roadways. Ice accumulation on trees will
weigh down limbs and could snap small branches.
* WINDS...East 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.
* TEMPERATURES...In the upper 20s.
