...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CDT
MONDAY...

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATION...Varying considerably, ranging from as
little as 1 inch or less across parts of mainly Hall, Adams,
Webster and Smith counties, up to around 5 inches across parts
of primarily Valley, Sherman and Greeley counties. Considerable
variability in snow amounts is likely across any given county.

* TIMING...Snow, possibly mixing with or changing over to rain at
times, will continue into the overnight hours while gradually
ending from west-to-east.

* WINDS...From the north-northwest sustained at 25 to 35 mph, and
gusting up to around 45 MPH, although a gradual decrease is
likely as the night wears on.

* IMPACTS...The combination of snow and strong winds will likely
reduce visibility to around one-half mile or less at times, with
near-blizzard conditions in the heaviest snow bands. The
combination of strong winds and wet, heavy snow could damage
tree limbs and power lines, resulting in some power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while
driving.
