...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM SUNDAY THROUGH NOON
CST MONDAY...

* WHAT...Freezing drizzle, heavy snow, and poor visibility in
blowing and drifting snow are expected. Plan on difficult travel
conditions which could become near impossible with road closures
a possibility by Sunday night into Monday morning. Ice
accumulations of a light glaze are expected Sunday morning
followed by total snow accumulations of 6 to 9 inches, with
localized amounts up to 10 inches.

* WHERE...Portions of central and south central Nebraska.

* WHEN...Precipitation is expected to begin in the form of a light
freezing drizzle Sunday morning and change over to snow by
Sunday afternoon. The heaviest snow is expected Sunday evening
through early Monday morning.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Be prepared for significant reductions in
visibility at times in near white out conditions during the
height of the storm Sunday evening into Monday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow, sleet
and ice are expected. This will make travel very hazardous or
