ACROSS THE AREA. HOWEVER...A ROUGHLY 10 TO 20 MILE WIDE CORRIDOR
EXTENDING FROM NEAR YORK NEBRASKA...SOUTHWESTWARD THROUGH THE CLAY
CENTER...RED CLOUD AND NORTHWESTERN SMITH COUNTY KANSAS AREAS
RECEIVED WIDESPREAD COVERAGE OF 2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN OVERNIGHT.
THIS HAS LIKELY RESULTED IN AT LEAST MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AREAS AND SMALL CREEKS...INCLUDING THE BEAVER CREEK IN THE YORK
AREA TO NAME JUST ONE.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT COULD EXPERIENCE FLOODING TODAY INCLUDE...
YORK...GENEVA...SMITH CENTER...SUTTON...RED CLOUD...CLAY CENTER...
EXETER...FAIRMONT...EDGAR...NELSON...KENSINGTON...MCCOOL

ALTHOUGH ONLY SPOTTY...GENERALLY LIGHT ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS
EXPECTED THROUGH MOST OF THE DAY...HEAVIER SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
COULD AGAIN DEVELOP LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...POSSIBLY
RESULTING IN ADDITIONAL FLOODING CONCERNS.
