...BLIZZARD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM CST
* WHAT...Blizzard conditions expected. Travel will be very
dangerous to impossible, including during the morning commute on
Monday. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 15 inches are
* WHERE...Portions of northeast Nebraska, mainly along and
northwest of a line from Columbus to West Point and Macy.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 6 PM CST Monday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds gusting over 40 mph will cause
whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant drifting of the
snow is likely.
A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous. Do not travel. If
