SOUTHERN BLADEN COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA...
NORTH CENTRAL COLUMBUS COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN NORTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 1100 AM EDT

* AT 928 AM EDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED TORRENTIAL RAINFALL MOVING
INTO AN AREA WHERE 3 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN EARLY
THIS MORNING. ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3 INCHES THROUGH 11 AM
WILL CAUSE FLOODING IN THE WARNED AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
ELIZABETHTOWN...LAGOON...ELKTON...CARVERS...LISBON...COUNCIL...

THIS INCLUDES US ROUTE 74 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 409 AND 410.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington NC has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Cape Fear At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3,
* from this evening to Monday afternoon.
* At 8:00 AM Thursday, the stage was 37.74 feet.
* Flood stage is 42.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by late this evening,
and continue to rise to near 48.0 feet by early Saturday morning. The
river will fall below flood stage by early Monday morning.
* At 50.0 feet...Extensive lowland flooding will occur along the left
bank of the river.
