CLUSTERS OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SOUTHEAST STANLY... ANSON...
MONTGOMERY... RANDOLPH... RICHMOND AND PORTIONS OF MOORE AND CHATHAM
COUNTIES THROUGH 730 AM. THE THUNDERSTORMS WITH THE HEAVIEST RAIN
WILL AFFECT AREAS AROUND ANSONVILLE AND WADESBORO TO TROY AND
SEAGROVE. DUE TO THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS TO THE EAST AT 15
MPH... SOME HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL OCCUR.

HAZARDS INCLUDE...
HEAVY RAINFALL WITH RAINFALL RATES OF 1.5 INCHES PER HOUR.
MINOR FLOODING OF POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.

HEAVY RAIN WILL RESULT MINOR FLOODING OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND AREAS
OF POOR DRAINAGE. DRIVERS ARE URGED TO SLOW DOWN AND USE EXTRA
CAUTION TO AVOID HYDROPLANING...ESPECIALLY IN URBAN AREAS WHERE
PROLONGED HEAVY RAIN CAN QUICKLY LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING.
