...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM MDT
* TIMING...Snow showers will gradually end overnight in
Yellowstone National Park. Snow will continue in the Absarokas
into Friday morning.
* TOTAL SNOW...6 to 12 inches in the mountains. New snow at the
lower elevations of Yellowstone Park will be 2 inches or less
overnight...with up to 4 inches near the East Entrance.
* MAIN IMPACT...Highways will become slick and snow covered,
including Chief Joseph Highway and Highways 14/16/20 west out
of Cody. Visibility could be reduced to under one quarter mile
A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
and slick roads with limited visibilities. Slow down, and allow
