The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Yellowstone River at Billings affecting Stillwater and
Yellowstone Counties.
* from Sunday afternoon until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 10 AM Saturday the stage was 12.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 13.5 feet.
* Mainly minor flooding is expected this weekend. Moderate flooding
could occur Monday night through Wednesday, should excessive
rainfall occur from thunderstorms over the weekend. Bank erosion
is likely.
* Forecast...The river will slowly rise above flood stage late
Saturday night into Sunday morning. Additional rises are expected
into early next week. Moderate flooding is possible Monday through
Wednesday.

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a

* Flood Warning for
The Stillwater River near Absarokee affecting Stillwater County.
* from Sunday morning until further notice...or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 11 AM Saturday the stage was 6.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is expected Saturday into Sunday. A rise to
moderate flooding is possible Sunday night through Monday, should
excessive rainfall occur from thunderstorms over the weekend. A
record crest is possible Sunday night or Monday morning.
* Forecast...The river will rise through the weekend and exceed
flood stage late Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening. The river
will continue to rise Sunday night and Monday. Moderate flooding
is possible Sunday night through Monday, with a record crest a
possibility. The river will stay high into early next week.

The National Weather Service in Billings has issued a
* Flood Watch for
The Stillwater River near Absarokee affecting Stillwater County.
* Until further notice.
* At 1 PM Thursday the stage was 5.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is possible late this weekend. Major flooding
could occur Monday and Tuesday, should heavy rainfall occur over
the weekend, but there is still some uncertainty on exactly how
much rain will fall, and the impact of this rainfall on the
river.
* Forecast...The river will gradually rise and could reach flood
stage this weekend. Major flooding is possible Monday and Tuesday,
but there is uncertainty about the extent of future flooding based
on rainfall.
