THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MISSOULA HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW, BLOWING SNOW AND COLD WIND CHILLS...WHICH
IS IN EFFECT FROM 2 PM MONDAY TO 11 AM MST TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS/TIMING: A MOIST WEATHER DISTURBANCE WILL COMBINE WITH AN
ARCTIC AIR MASS TO PRODUCE ACCUMULATING SNOW, GUSTY NORTHEAST
WINDS AND COLD WIND CHILLS LATE MONDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH TUESDAY
MORNING. HEAVY SNOW BANDS PRODUCING SIGNIFICANT SNOW IN A SHORT
PERIOD OF TIME ARE POSSIBLE. TRAVEL WILL BE IMPACTED,
ESPECIALLY DURING THE MONDAY EVENING COMMUTE, DUE TO SNOW AND
BLOWING SNOW. THE COLD AND WET CONDITIONS WILL IMPACT NEWBORN
LIVESTOCK.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 2 TO 4 INCHES, LOCALLY HIGHER.

* BLOWING SNOW: VISIBILITY QUICKLY REDUCED TO LESS THAN A MILE AT
TIMES, ESPECIALLY NEAR HELLGATE CANYON.

* WIND CHILLS: 5 BELOW ZERO TO 15 BELOW ZERO STARTING MONDAY
EVENING. COLDER WIND CHILLS TO NEAR 20 BELOW ZERO IN SOUTHWEST
MONTANA.
