...HIGH WIND WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM MDT THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Missoula has issued a High Wind
Warning...which is in effect until 9 PM MDT this evening. The
Wind Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Impacts/Timing: Strong southwest winds will continue through
early evening. These winds will cause some tree damage,
difficult driving conditions and large waves on area lakes.
Falling trees will be particularly hazardous in recent burn
scars.

* Winds: Southwest 25 to 35 mph with gusts near 50 mph.

* Locations impacted include: Flathead Lake, Flathead Valley,
Mission Valley, and Polson

* Impacts/Timing: Winds will increase during Tuesday afternoon
and are expected to peak during the evening. These winds will
cause some tree damage, and difficult driving conditions.
Falling trees will be particularly hazardous in recent burn
scars.

* Winds: West 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 45 mph in the
valleys. Gusts in excess of 50 mph in the higher terrain.

* Locations impacted include: Evaro Hill, Highway 200 Thompson
Falls to Plains, Highway 200 Trout Creek to Heron, I-90
Lookout Pass to Haugan, Bitterroot Valley, Missoula, Butte,
Georgetown Lake, Highway 12 Garrison to Elliston, Homestake
Pass, MacDonald Pass, Highway 200 Bonner to Greenough, Highway
83 Seeley Lake to Condon, and I-90 East Missoula to Bearmouth

* Winds: West 15 to 25 mph with gusts 30 to 45 mph in the
valleys. Gusts in excess of 50 mph in the higher terrain.

* Locations impacted include: Highway 2 Kalispell to Libby,
Highway 37 Eureka to Libby, Highway 56 Bull Lake Road, Highway
93 Eureka to Whitefish, Bad Rock Canyon, Essex, Highway 83
Bigfork to Swan Lake, Marias Pass, and Polebridge
