11 PM MST WEDNESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREAT FALLS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS
EVENING TO 11 PM MST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS NO
LONGER IN EFFECT. THE WINTER STORM WATCH IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT.

* TIMING AND MAIN IMPACT: SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL DEVELOP
TONIGHT OVER PARTS OF CENTRAL MONTANA...THEN SHIFT INTO NORTH
CENTRAL MONTANA ON WEDNESDAY. PERIODS OF HEAVY SNOW ARE EXPECTED
THROUGH WEDNESDAY AT HIGHER ELEVATIONS. MUCH OF THE SNOW AT
LOWER ELEVATIONS WILL ACCUMULATE TUESDAY NIGHT. TRAVEL WILL
BECOME DIFFICULT AT TIMES.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 8 TO 16 INCHES OF TOTAL ACCUMULATION ARE
EXPECTED OVER THE MOUNTAINS WITH 4 TO 8 INCHES ACCUMULATION AT
LOWER ELEVATIONS.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY: FALLING SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CREATE
AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW...WITH VISIBILITY LESS THAN ONE HALF MILE
AT TIMES.

* LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE: STANFORD...LEWISTOWN...LEWISTOWN
DIVIDE...CUT BANK...GREAT FALLS...KINGS HILL PASS.
