A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM
CST THURSDAY.

* SHORT TERM TRENDS...LIGHT SNOW WITH POCKETS OF MODERATE SNOW
WILL CONTINUE THIS AFTERNOON WITH THE SNOW ENDING FROM NORTH TO
SOUTH LATER THIS AFTERNOON INTO THIS EVENING. AN ADDITIONAL
DUSTING TO AROUND ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW ON TOP OF WHAT FELL
THIS MORNING IS EXPECTED...BRINGING STORM TOTAL SNOWFALL AMOUNTS
OF 1 TO 4 INCHES WITH THE HEAVIEST ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE
INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR.

* TIMING AND AREAS AFFECTED...PORTIONS OF SOUTHEASTERN KANSAS AND
SOUTHWESTERN AND CENTRAL MISSOURI...INCLUDING THE GREATER
INTERSTATE 44 CORRIDOR...THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...ONE TO FOUR INCHES WITH THE LIGHTEST NORTH
OF INTERSTATE 44 AND THE HEAVIEST ALONG AND SOUTH.

* WINDS AND VISIBILITY...MODERATE SNOW WILL LIKELY RESULT IN
VISIBILITY AT OR BELOW ONE MILE AT TIMES ON WEDNESDAY.

* IMPACTS...SNOW ON TOP OF THE SLEET THAT FELL EARLY THIS MORNING
WILL RESULT IN CONSIDERABLE TRAVEL IMPACTS ACROSS THE AREA
STARTING LATE TONIGHT...AND CONTINUING THROUGH THE DAY ON
WEDNESDAY.
