St. Louis, St. Charles, St. Peters, Florissant, Chesterfield,
Belleville, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Granite City,
Wentzville, O'Fallon, Alton, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St.
Louis, Hazelwood, Collinsville, Edwardsville and Webster Groves.

This includes the following highways...
Interstate 70 in Illinois between exits 21 and 30.
Interstate 55 in Illinois between exits 23 and 37.
Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 109 and 127.
Interstate 64 in Illinois between exits 9 and 61.
Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 225 and 277.
Interstate 55 in Missouri between exits 170 and 191.
Interstate 70 in Missouri between exits 208 and 231.

This also includes Babler Memorial State Park, Scott Joplin Historic
Site, Route 66 State Park, Castlewood State Park, Confluence State
Park, Mastodon Historic Site, Sandy Creek Covered Bridge Historic
Site, Gov. Dunklin's Grave Historic Site, First Missouri State
Capitol Historic Site, Robertsville State Park, Meramec State Park,
Carlyle Lake Recreational Area, and Horseshoe Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.

the Missouri River at Washington
* until further notice.
* At 8:45 PM Sunday the stage was 27.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* The river is forecast to crest near 29.4 feet by Monday evening.
* Impact: At 29.5 feet...The Labadie Bottoms Section Five levee just
downstream of the Ameren UE Labadie Power Plant is overtopped near
this height.
* Impact: At 29.4 feet...West Main and Tiemannn Drive begins flooding
near this height.
* Impact: At 29.0 feet...State Highway 47 begins to flood near
Augusta Bottom Road and at Lake Creek Bridge near the Highway 94
turnoff to Dutzow.
* Impact: At 28.5 feet...Near this height...Missouri Highway 94 is
closed 1.5 miles southwest of Matson.
* Impact: At 28.3 feet...The railroad crossing at Lafayette Street
floods near this height.

This also includes Deutschheim Historic Site, Cuivre River State
Park, Union Covered Bridge Historic Site, Graham Cave State Park,
Mark Twain Lake Recreational Area, and Pere Marquette State Park.
