...WINTER STORM WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH
MONDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Travel could be very
difficult to impossible, including during the morning commute on
Monday. Total snow accumulations of 7 to 10 inches are possible.
Localized amounts up to 12 inches are possible in southwest
Minnesota. Ice accumulations of a light glaze could occur Sunday
night in northwest Iowa and toward Interstate 90 in southwest
Minnesota.

* WHERE...Portions of northwest Iowa and southwest Minnesota.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday evening.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds of 25 to 40 mph could cause whiteout
conditions in blowing snow beginning overnight Sunday night and
lasting through Monday evening. The worst visibilities will be
outside city limits. Significant drifting of snow is also
possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch for blizzard conditions means there is a
potential for falling and/or blowing snow with strong winds and
extremely poor visibilities. This can lead to whiteout conditions
and make travel very dangerous.
