* WIDESPREAD DENSE FOG WILL LOWER VISIBILITY TO ONE QUARTER MILE OR
LESS OVERNIGHT.

MOVES INTO THE AREA. THE SNOW WILL CONTINUE MODERATE TO HEAVY
AT TIMES THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT.

* LOOK FOR STORM TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 4 TO 7 INCHES...
WITH THE GREATEST AMOUNTS OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN FROM TWIN
LAKES TO CALUMET AND DELAWARE.

* NORTH WINDS GUSTING TO 30 MPH WILL ALSO PRODUCE AREAS OF
BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW.

* WINDS...NORTH TO NORTHWEST WINDS OF 30 TO 40 MPH ARE EXPECTED
ON MONDAY AND MONDAY EVENING NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR. GUSTS MAY
REACH 50 MPH.

* WAVES...THE STRONG WINDS WILL BUILD WAVES UP TO 13 TO 18 FEET
MONDAY AFTERNOON AND MONDAY EVENING. THE HIGHEST WAVES ARE
EXPECTED ALONG THE WESTERN SHORE OF THE KEWEENAW PENINSULA
MONDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY EVENING...AND ALONG THE SHORE
FROM BIG BAY AND MARQUETTE EAST TO MUNISING...GRAND MARAIS AND
CRISP POINT MONDAY NIGHT. WAVES WILL SUBSIDE TO LESS THAN 10
FEET LATE MONDAY NIGHT.

* IMPACTS...WAVES THIS HIGH ALONG WITH WATER LEVELS ABOVE NORMAL
FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR WILL RESULT IN BEACH EROSION AND
POSSIBLE FLOODING OF PRONE LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE
SHORELINE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS WILL
GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE LAKESHORE.
