...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT MONDAY...
The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of central Michigan, south central Michigan,
southwest Michigan, and west central Michigan, including the
following areas, in central Michigan, Gratiot, Isabella,
Mecosta, and Montcalm. In south central Michigan, Clinton,
Eaton, and Ionia. In southwest Michigan, Allegan, Barry,
Kalamazoo, Kent, Ottawa, and Van Buren. In west central
Michigan, Muskegon, Newaygo, and Oceana.
* Until 8 AM EDT Monday
* Periods of rain with embedded thunderstorms will continue
tonight. Many areas have already seen 1 to 2 inches of rain.
Around another 1 inch of rain is possible tonight bringing storm
total rainfalls of 2 to 3 inches. Locally higher amounts cannot
be ruled out where thunderstorms persist.
