THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAY HAS ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 2 AM EDT
SUNDAY.

* LOCATION...WESTERN MAINE AND NEW HAMPSHIRE COASTLINE.

* COASTAL FLOODING...VERY MINOR FLOODING AND MINOR SPLASHOVER AND
BEACH EROSION.

* TIMING...AROUND THE TIME OF THE HIGH TIDE TONIGHT WHICH IS 1158
PM AT PORTLAND.

* IMPACTS...MINOR SPLASHOVER AND BEACH EROSION DUE TO WAVE ACTION.
THE TIDE LEVEL MAY JUST REACH THE 12 FOOT BENCHMARK THAT BEGINS
FLOODING OF THE LOWEST PRONE AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT WINDS AND TIDES WILL
COMBINE TO GENERATE MINOR FLOODING...SPLASHOVER...AND BEACH
EROSION ALONG THE SHORE.
