...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS
* LOCATIONS...Northern Maine...the Penobscot region including
greater Bangor...and interior downeast Maine.
* HAZARD TYPES...Snow...sleet and freezing rain.
* ACCUMULATIONS...Snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches across
northern areas...little if any snow accumulation downeast or in
the greater Bangor area.
* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A tenth of an inch or less...mainly across
* TIMING...Through early this evening.
* IMPACTS...Expect some travel difficulties. Snow, sleet and a
thin glaze of ice will produce slippery conditions.
* WINDS...Southeast 5 to 10 mph.
* TEMPERATURES...In the mid 20s north and low 30s downeast.
