ISSUED A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY, WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM
THIS EVENING TO 6 AM EDT THURSDAY.

* LOCATIONS...SENSITIVE PORTIONS ALONG SHORELINE OF ST MARYS
COUNTY.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...1 TO 1.5 FEET ABOVE NORMAL.

* TIMING...FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS AROUND HIGH TIDE LATE TONIGHT
INTO THURSDAY MORNING. HIGH TIDE AT COLTONS POINT IS AT 2:43 AM
THURSDAY MORNING. HIGH TIDE AT PINEY POINT IS AT 2:07 AM
THURSDAY MORNING. HIGH TIDE AT POINT LOOKOUT IS AT 1:18 AM
THURSDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...WATER WILL BEGIN TO GO OVER A PORTION OF THE BULKHEAD
NEAR STRAITS POINT BRIDGE AND IT WILL ALSO COVER YARDS IN ST
GEORGES CREEK AND ST MARYS RIVER AREAS. MINOR SHORELINE
INUNDATION IS POSSIBLE ELSEWHERE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS AND TIDES
WILL COMBINE TO GENERATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE.

FORECAST TIDES ARE REFERENCED TO MEAN LOWER LOW WATER
(MLLW) AND MEAN HIGHER HIGH WATER (MHHW) UNLESS
OTHERWISE NOTED. TIME OF HIGH TOTAL TIDE IS
APPROXIMATE TO NEAREST HOUR. TOTAL TIDE COMBINES THE
NORMAL TIDE AND DEPARTURE FROM NORMAL. FLOOD IMPACT
