AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ST. BERNARD...CENTRAL ST.
CHARLES...ORLEANS...SOUTHEASTERN ST. TAMMANY AND NORTHWESTERN
JEFFERSON PARISHES...NORTHWESTERN HARRISON...HANCOCK AND CENTRAL
PEARL RIVER COUNTIES...

At 839 AM CST, radar indicated showers and thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall were located along a line extending from near Poplarville
to near Lacombe and western Slidell to Luling. Movement was
northeast at 45 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph are possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
New Orleans, Slidell, Picayune, Bay St. Louis, Waveland, Poplarville,
Metairie, Marrero, Chalmette, Avondale, Diamondhead, Harvey, East New
Orleans, Timberlane, Belle Chasse, Jefferson, Gretna, Harahan,
Westwego and Pearl River.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized ponding or minor street flooding. Do not drive your
vehicle through flooded roadways.
