is cancelled.
* At 7:00 PM Friday The stage was 28.7 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Wednesday morning and
continue to rise to near 31.5 feet BY Saturday morning. Additional
rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact...at 31.0 feet...Russel road will be overflowed and closed
between Blanchard Highway and I-220 in north shreveport.

* At 900 AM Monday The stage was 28.1 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early Sunday morning and
continue to rise to near 31.5 feet by Monday morning.
* Impact...at 31.0 feet...Russel road will be overflowed and closed
between Blanchard highway and I-220 in north Shreveport. Also
expect backwater flooding up Cross Bayou, Twelve Mile Bayou, and
lower McCain Creek. High water will creep up to near southern Fant
Parkway and near the Teague Parkway.

* Flood pool stage is 142.5 feet.
* Forecast...The lake will continue to fall to below flood stage by
Wednesday early afternoon.
* Impact...at 142.5 feet...Expect some minor flooding of low area
camps, however, all access roadways will remain open.

The flood warning continues for
the Red River At Shreveport, Louisiana.
* from late Sunday night until further notice...or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 800 PM Monday the stage was 28.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 30 feet.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early next Monday morning and
continue to rise to near 33.0 feet by June 5.
* Impact...Expect considerable flooding between levee systems with
major backwater flooding up through Cross Bayou, lower McCain Creek,
and Twelve Mile Bayou. High water will affect the southern Fant
Parkway and affect a portion of Teague Parkway in Bossier City.
High water will flood near Martin Luther King Drive.
* This flood will compare to a crest of 34.5 feet during May 15 of
1990.

the Red River At Grand Ecore, Louisiana.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1100 AM Tuesday the stage was 35.9 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 33 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 38.5 feet by
June 7.
* Impact...at 36.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding of several hundred
acres both upstream and downstream from Grand Ecore take place with
backwater flooding of tributary bayous that include Bayou Pierre up
through Powhattan, Louisiana. Backwater flooding also affect Iatt,
Saline, Black, and Nantaches Bayous. Move livestock and equipment
to higher ground.

* Flood stage is 31 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 35.5 feet by
June 6. Additional rises remain possible thereafter.
* Impact...at 31.0 feet...Moderate flooding occurs. Severe backwater
flooding occurs from the confluence or the Red River with Loggy
Bayou, from upstream to below Lake Bistineau. Cattle and equipment
should be moved to higher ground.
