OZONE ACTION DAY FOR EAST BATON ROUGE...WEST BATON ROUGE...
LIVINGSTON...ASCENSION...IBERVILLE AND POINTE COUPEE PARISHES...IN
EFFECT FROM 6 AM THIS MORNING TO MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT.

THE AIR QUALITY INDEX INDICATES THAT OZONE WILL BE AT THE ORANGE
LEVEL...WHICH IS UNHEALTHY FOR SENSITIVE GROUPS. INCREASING OZONE
LEVELS MAY CAUSE UNHEALTHY AIR QUALITY DURING AFTERNOON HOURS.
ACTIVE CHILDREN AND ADULTS...THE ELDERLY AND PEOPLE WITH RESPIRATORY
DISEASES SUCH AS ASTHMA...SHOULD AVOID PROLONGED OUTDOOR EXERTION.

The Mississippi River At Red River Landing.
* until further notice.
* At 7:00 PM Monday the stage was 56.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 48.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to remain at or near 56.0 feet
from now through Friday July 31st.
* Impact...At 54.0 feet...All river islands along the reach from Red
River Landing to Baton Rouge will be inundated. Recreational camps
and river bottom land will be under water. Water approaches Angola
farm land.

* At 8:00 PM Monday the stage was 38.8 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to remain at or near 38.8 feet
from now through Friday July 31st.
* Impact...At 38.0 feet...River traffic and industrial activity on the
river side of the levees will be greatly affected. Navigational
safety regulations will be strictly enforced.
* Impact...At 36.0 feet...River traffic and industrial activity on the
river side of the levees will be greatly affected. Navigational
safety regulations will be strictly enforced.
* Impact...At 35.0 feet...River islands from Red River Landing
downstream to Baton Rouge will be inundated.
