The flood warning continues for
the Red River At Coushatta, Louisiana.
* until Wednesday evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1000 AM Friday The stage was 33.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 31 feet
* Forecast...Expect little change throughout this Friday as the Red
River crests at 33.5 feet at Coushatta. The river will recede to
near 33 feet by Saturday morning.
* Impact...at 34.0 feet...Moderate flooding occurs. Severe backwater
flooding occurs from the confluence of the Red River with Loggy
Bayou through the lower Flat River and Red Chute Bayou in southern
Bossier Parish. Cattle and equipment should be moved to higher
ground away from levees.

The flood warning continues for
the Red River At Grand Ecore, Louisiana.
* until Wednesday afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1000 AM Friday the stage was 35.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 33 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 36.0 feet by
Saturday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Tuesday
before midnight.
* Impact...at 36.0 feet...Minor lowland flooding of several hundred
acres both upstream and downstream from Grand Ecore take place with
backwater flooding of tributary bayous that include Bayou Pierre up
through Powhattan, Louisiana. Backwater flooding also affects
Iatt, Saline, Black, and Nantaches Bayous. Move livestock and
equipment to higher ground away from levees.
