A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL PASS THROUGH EASTERN KENTUCKY DURING THE DAY
ON MONDAY. SUSTAINED SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WILL
DEVELOP BY EARLY MONDAY MORNING AND CONTINUE THROUGH LATE IN THE
AFTERNOON. PEAK WIND GUSTS WILL RANGE FROM 35 TO 45 MPH. THESE
STRONGER WIND GUSTS WILL ESPECIALLY OCCUR ALONG AND JUST BEHIND THE
FRONT AS IT PASSES THROUGH THE REGION. WINDS OF THIS MAGNITUDE COULD
BLOW DOWN WEAKLY ROOTED TREES AS WELL AS CAUSE DRIVING DIFFICULTIES.

TIMING...WINDS WILL INCREASE FROM EARLY MONDAY MORNING THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON.

WINDS...WINDS WILL BE OUT OF THE SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST FROM 15 TO 30
MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 35 AND 45 MPH.

IMPACTS...THESE WINDS WILL MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT PARTICULARLY FOR
HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. ALSO SOME SHALLOW ROOTED TREES COULD BE BLOWN
OVER.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT SUSTAINED WINDS OF 30 TO 39 MPH OR
WIND GUSTS FROM 40 TO 57 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN
