* Until 330 AM EDT.

* At 1221 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported that thunderstorms
had produced heavy rain and water rescues were ongoing near Ripley
and several other points along the Ohio River. Motorists were also
stranded. Radar indicated that heavy rain continues to fall with
another 1 to 2 inches possible. Runoff from this excessive
rainfall will worsen ongoing flash flooding. This is a dangerous
situation!

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Maysville, Washington, Manchester, Ripley, Aberdeen, Vanceburg,
Augusta, Brooksville, Rome, Dover, Germantown, Concord, Trinity,
Bradysville, Ribolt, Charters, South Ripley, Chatham, Tuckahoe and
Minerva.

...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR MASON...ROBERTSON AND SOUTHEASTERN
BRACKEN COUNTIES REMAINS IN EFFECT Until 300 AM EDT...

At 1254 AM EDT, emergency management reported that thunderstorms had
produced heavy rain and flash flooding was ongoing. Cars were
submerged, and a mobile home was surrounded with people trapped in
Mason County. 2 to 4 inches of rain have fallen. Radar indicated
that heavy rain continues to fall with another 1 to 2 inches
possible. Runoff from this excessive rainfall will continue to cause
flash flooding to occur.

This is a dangerous situation!

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Maysville, Washington, Lewisburg, Mount Olivet, Sardis, US Route 62
at State Route 875, Abigail, Murphysville, Mount Gilead, Stonewall,
Mays Lick, Rectorville, Peed, Fleming-Mason Airport, Orangeburg,
Lowell, Helena, Somo, US Route 62 at State Route 616 and Hittville.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of Southeast Indiana, Kentucky,
and Southwest Ohio, including the following areas, in
Southeast Indiana, Dearborn, Ohio, Ripley, and Switzerland. In
Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant,
Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton, and Robertson. In
Southwest Ohio, Adams, Brown, Clermont, Hamilton, and Scioto.

* Through Sunday morning

* Ongoing thunderstorms across far southern Ohio, southeast
Indiana and northern Kentucky will be joined by more storms off
to the west. Multiple waves of storms with torrential rainfall
rates are possible overnight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

People in the watch area should keep an eye on the weather and be
prepared for immediate action should heavy rains and flooding
occur or a Flash Flood Warning be issued. Avoid low-lying areas,
and be careful when approaching highway dips and underpasses.

* Until 215 AM EDT.

* At 1122 PM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
moving slowly across the warned area. One to two inches of rain
has already fallen in some spots and another one to two inches are
possible.

* Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition, farmland near creeks,
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Maysville, Washington, Lewisburg, Head of Grassy, Camp Dix,
Tollesboro, Mount Olivet, Sardis, Murphysville, Alhambra, Stonewall,
