...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Kentucky.

* Through Sunday evening

* 1 to locally 3+ inches of rain is expected to fall from multiple
rounds of thunderstorms early through late Sunday evening.


* Areas that see repeated thunderstorm activity, and locations
that have seen excessive rainfall over the past couple of
weeks will be most at risk, along with urban areas and the
normal flood prone locations.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
South central Logan County in central Kentucky...
Simpson County in south central Kentucky...

* Until 715 PM CDT

* At 644 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 11 miles northwest
of Cross Plains, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. Law enforcement reports trees down 8
miles south of Russellville.

IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Adairville, Black Jack, Neosheo, Geddes, Mcelroy Ford, Salmons,
Schochoh, Middleton, Schweizer and Prices Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
