The Flood Warning continues for
The Walnut River At Winfield.
* Until Monday evening.
* At 8:00 AM Saturday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 21.5 feet by
Sunday morning. The river will fall below flood stage Monday
morning.
* Impact...At 22.0 feet...A large portion of the fairgrounds flood
along with roads west of Rock and 3 miles northwest of Winfield.

The Arkansas River At Arkansas City.
* From this morning until late Monday night.
* At 8:00 AM Saturday the stage was 10.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this morning and continue to
rise to near 13.6 feet by Sunday morning. The river will fall below
flood stage by Monday early afternoon.
* Impact...At 14.0 feet...The Water Plant takes precautions on water
well pump houses west of the Arkansas River.
