The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, north
central Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana,
southwest Indiana, and west central Indiana, including the
following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone,
Clinton, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard,
Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Rush, Shelby, and Tipton. In
east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry, and Randolph. In north
central Indiana, Carroll. In south central Indiana, Brown,
Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings.
In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and
Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery,
Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo, and Warren.

* Through Monday morning

* Multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected through Sunday
night on top of rain that has already fallen. Several more
inches of rain are possible over all or parts of the watch
area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

The Flood Warning continues for
The Eel River at Bowling Green.
* until late Tuesday night.
* At 10:30 PM Saturday the stage was 16.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 19.8 feet by
tomorrow early afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage
Tuesday early afternoon.
* At 20.0 feet...Flood water, possibly a foot deep, covers SR 42 just
east of the Eel River. Several county roads flood extensively.
Persons in river cabins move cars and possibly belongings to high
ground. Agricultural levees are threatened. Poland-Bowling Green
Road is impassable in several places.

The White River at Elliston.
* from late tonight to Monday May 08.
* At 7:36 AM Saturday the stage was 12.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by early tomorrow and continue to
rise to near 25.6 feet by early Wednesday morning. The river will
fall below flood stage by early Monday morning.
* At 26.0 feet...Shawnee Airfield floods as flood waters begin to get
into the hangar. Relocation of livestock may be necessary.

continue to rise to near 21.1 feet by Wednesday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by Sunday before midnight.
* At 21.0 feet...Flood waters reach critical stage for McGinnis and
Shufflebarger Levees.

* At 10:30 PM Saturday the stage was 10.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by tomorrow late morning and
continue to rise to near 19.3 feet by Wednesday evening.
* At 19.0 feet...Road south of river gage begins to flood. Gosport
Road closes. Extensive agricultural flooding is in progress. Moon
Road in very rural northwest Monroe County is extensively flooded.
