The Flood Warning continues for
The White River at Edwardsport.
* UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING.
* At 7:00 AM Sunday the stage was 19.4 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 19.8 feet by
tomorrow evening. The river will fall below flood stage Friday
evening.
* At 20.0 feet...Water is at Critical levels for makeshift levees.
Most of bottomlands flood. Old Vincennes road and State Road 358
between Plainville and Edwardsport are impassable by several feet.
High water surrounds river cabins. This type of flood occurs on
average about once a year.

The White River at Newberry.
* UNTIL THURSDAY AFTERNOON.
* Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is forecast to have a maximum value of 17.2
feet this evening.
* At 17.0 feet...Flood waters block access and begins to surround
about 5 to 10 river cabins on south side of the river just
southwest of Newberry.

The White River at Petersburg.
* UNTIL Tuesday January 31.
* At 9:30 AM Sunday the stage was 19.6 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 21.0 feet by
Thursday evening. The river will fall below flood stage Monday
early afternoon.
* At 21.0 feet...Flooding affects higher bottomlands and may affect a
few residents in an area known as Dodge City. Local roads leading
to Dodge City area are flooded. State Road 257 south of Washington
completely floods at this level if Shoals remains above 16 feet.
Ditch Road begins to flood.

* UNTIL LATE THURSDAY NIGHT.
* At 8:00 AM Sunday the stage was 22.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...the river will crest tonight near 22.3 feet then fall
below flood stage January 26.
* At 23.0 feet...Extensive flooding of agricultural lands begin.
