EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM EST FRIDAY/MIDNIGHT CST FRIDAY/ FOR WHITE...
FULTON...PULASKI...SOUTHERN KOSCIUSKO...CASS...NORTHWESTERN MIAMI AND
SOUTHERN MARSHALL COUNTIES...

Trained weather spotters and emergency management reported flooding
across the warned area. Storm total rainfall of 3 to 6 inches were
reported from late Sunday night through late Tuesday night.

Many roads remain closed. Others remain open with water impeding
traffic on one or more lanes. Some rivers will reach major flood
stage today. Please reference the individual river forecasts for
more detailed information. Some recession of flood waters away from
rivers and streams is expected today, but many locations near rivers
and streams will continue to experience significant flooding.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Logansport, Rochester, Monticello, Winona Lake, Winamac, Monon,
Brookston, Akron, Pierceton, Wolcott, Mentone, Francesville, Royal
Center, Medaryville, Pulaski, Walnut, Ripley, Kewanna, Reynolds and
Chalmers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

February 24th...which is a record.
* At 16.0 feet...Record flooding is in progress.
* This crest compares to a previous crest of 15.7 feet which occurred
on Mar 13 2009.
