CENTRAL COOK AND NORTHEASTERN DUPAGE COUNTIES UNTIL 330 PM CDT...

AT 156 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THAT THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL HAVE MOVED OUT OF THE
THE ADVISORY AREA. HOWEVER...DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT BETWEEN 1
AND 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN FELL ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA WITHIN ABOUT
A 2 HOUR PERIOD. RUNOFF FROM THIS ACTIVITY COULD CONTINUE TO LEAD TO
SOME MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS AND PONDING OF WATER ON AREA
ROADS FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR TWO. CONDITIONS SHOULD RAPIDLY IMPROVE
THROUGH THE AFTERNOON.

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE EASTERN
DUPAGE AND NORTHERN COOK.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS...URBAN AREAS...
HIGHWAYS... UNDERPASSES AND LOW LYING AREAS.
