The Wabash River at Vincennes.
* until Monday evening.
* At 11:45 AM Thursday the stage was 15.2 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Saturday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 16.1 feet by Sunday evening. The river
will fall below flood stage by Monday morning.
* At 16.0 feet...Some flooding at Kimmell Park in Vincennes.
Agricultural lands flood in the St. Francisville, Illinois area.

...Wind gusts between 15 mph and 25 mph possible this afternoon...
For those boating on area lakes and rivers this afternoon, be
aware that winds may blow from west to east, gusting between 15
and 25 mph at times.
These winds may generate some choppy waves, especially on eastern
shores or banks of rivers and lakes. The best chance for seeing
higher gusts will be over Southwest Indiana, the Pennyrile region
of West Kentucky, and Southeast Illinois, east of Interstate 57
If you are on the water, just use caution while boating or skiing.
Be sure to wear safety vests while on the water.
The wind is expected to lessen dramatically after 5 pm CDT today.
