A CHANGE IN SOUTHEAST IDAHO WEATHER IS EXPECTED THE NEXT FEW DAYS
WITH MOIST FLOW OFF THE PACIFIC MOVING INLAND. THIS PATTERN WILL
BRING ABOUT THREE SMALL DISTURBANCES THROUGH THIS AREA. MOST
PRECIPITATION WILL BE IN THE MOUNTAINS WITH SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF
2 TO 5 INCHES POSSIBLE BETWEEN SUNDAY NIGHT AND TUESDAY MORNING.
SNOW LEVELS NEAR 4000 FEET SUNDAY AFTERNOON WILL GRADUALLY RISE TO
NEAR 5500 FEET BY TUESDAY AFTERNOON. FOR THE LOWER VALLEYS...SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS OF LESS THAN ONE INCH ARE GENERALLY EXPECTED SUNDAY
NIGHT AND EARLY MONDAY....FOLLOWED BY A TREND TOWARDS MORE RAIN
THAN SNOW MONDAY AFTERNOON AND TUESDAY. THE BENCH AREAS NEAR
POCATELLO AND IDAHO FALLS COULD SEE 1 TO 2 INCHES SUNDAY NIGHT AND
MONDAY WITH SNOW CHANGING OVER TO RAIN TUESDAY.
