...SNOW AND WIND MONDAY...
A storm system will sweep into the central Idaho mountains Sunday
afternoon and across the remainder of southeast Idaho Sunday night
before exiting east of the region Monday evening. Storm total
snowfall of 4 to 10 inches can be expected in the central and
eastern mountains above 6000 feet with 1 to 3 inches in the valleys
and southern highlands through Monday afternoon. In addition to the
snowfall, breezy winds are expected to develop across the region
creating areas of blowing and drifting snow with reduced visibility.
Motorists planning travel through southeast Idaho Monday should be
prepared for difficult winter driving conditions and allow extra
time to reach your destination.
