...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...
The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of central Idaho, eastern Idaho, and southeast Idaho,
including the following areas, in central Idaho, Big and
Little Wood River Region, Lost River/Pahsimeroi, and Sawtooth
Mountains. In eastern Idaho, Upper Snake Highlands. In
southeast Idaho, Caribou Highlands, South Central Highlands,
and Wasatch Mountains/Idaho Portion.
* Through late tonight
* Significant rainfall and snowmelt expected.
* Snow levels expected to rise to 8500 feet Thursday afternoon with
rapid snowmelt below those levels expected as well as
significant rainfall arriving late tonight. This will lead to
excessive runoff and the potential exists for low-lying areas to
flood along with small creeks with flooding possible on back
