The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter Storm
Warning for Heavy Snow...which is in effect until 7 AM PST
Tuesday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Locations...Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, and Worley.

* Temperatures...in the lower 30s falling into the lower to mid
20s tonight.

* Snow Accumulations...An additional 3 to 6 inches.

* Timing...Snow will increase this evening and persist overnight
before decreasing by early Tuesday morning

* Impacts...Widespread winter driving conditions will develop this
evening. The Tuesday morning commute will likely be
treacherous...especially on untreated roads.

Tuesday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

* Locations...Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan, Fourth
of July Pass, Dobson Pass, and Lookout Pass.

* Snow Accumulations...An additional 4 to 6 inches valleys and 6
to 10 inches in the mountains.

* Timing...Snow will increase this evening and continue through
Tuesday morning. The heaviest snowfall is expected overnight
into early Tuesday morning.

* Impacts...Widespread winter driving conditions will develop this
evening. The Tuesday morning commute will likely be treacherous...
especially on untreated roads.

Mountain Road, Deer Park, Chewelah, Newport, Springdale-
Hunters Road, Orin-Rice Road, and Flowery Trail Road.

* Snow Accumulations...From Chewelah to Sandpoint south to Deer
Park and Athol...2 to 4 inches. From Colville to Bonners Ferry
north to the Canadian border...up to 1 inch.

* Timing...Snow will increase this evening and continue overnight.

* Impacts...Winter driving conditions are expectd to develop this
evening. The Tuesday morning commute will likely be
treacherous...especially on untreated roads.
