* Winds...Southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.
* Timing...1 PM to 8 pm PDT Tuesday.
* Impacts...Winds this strong can make driving difficult ...
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
Localized power outages are also possible due to downed trees
and tree limbs.
* Locations...Sandpoint, Rathdrum, Bonners Ferry, Priest River,
Eastport, Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan,
Colville, Deer Park, Chewelah, Newport, Kettle Falls, Republic,
Inchelium, Wauconda, Wenatchee, Chelan, Entiat, Cashmere,
Leavenworth, Mazama, Twisp, Winthrop, Stehekin, Conconully,
Omak, Okanogan, Brewster, Bridgeport, Oroville, and Nespelem.
A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Secure
outdoor objects. Take action to secure trash cans, lawn
furniture, and other loose or lightweight outdoor objects.
