ABOVE 3000 FEET...

* WHAT...Snow occurring. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches
for valleys above 3000 feet, with 7 to 12 inches in the higher
terrain, are expected through Sunday morning. Roads will
periodically become snow covered this morning with the heavier
showers, and will melt between showers this afternoon. Snow
rates are expected to intensify again this evening and
overnight. Elevations below 3000 feet, may see light
accumulations up to 2 inches overnight tonight. Road conditions
are expected to greatly improve by mid morning on Sunday,
especially for elevations down to around 3000 feet.

* WHERE...Highway 11 Pierce to Headquarters, Pierce, Camas
Prairie, Grangeville and vicinity, White Bird Grade, Dixie, Elk
City, and Highway 12 Lowell to Lolo Pass.

* WHEN...Until 11 AM PDT Sunday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Be
prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
