FAYETTE...FLOYD...HOWARD...MITCHELL...MOWER AND WINNESHIEK COUNTIES
BETWEEN 5 AM AND 6 AM...

AT 354 AM...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF STRONG TO SEVERE
THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CENTRAL IOWA. THIS LINE EXTENDED FROM
ESTHERVILLE TO IOWA FALLS TO MONTEZUMA...AND IT WAS MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 30 MPH.

WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL MAY ACCOMPANY THESE STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS. SEVERE WEATHER HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS.
WARNINGS MAY BE NEEDED AS THESE STORMS GET CLOSER

FROM LAKE MILLS TO MASON CITY TO WATERLOO IOWA. THIS LINE WAS
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

WIND GUSTS OF 40 TO 50 MPH AND SMALL HAIL MAY ACCOMPANY THESE STRONG
THUNDERSTORMS.
