...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a
Dense Fog Advisory...which is in effect until 8 AM CDT this
* VISIBILITY...1/4 mile or less.
* Timing...Now through 8 AM CDT this morning. Look for improving
visibilties by 8 AM CDT.
* Impacts...Travel will be impacted. Poor visibility will result
in hazardous driving conditions and longer travel times early
A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Patchy dense fog is developing overnight over parts of eastern
Iowa. Motorists should be prepared for quick changes in
visibility, dropping below a quarter mile at times. If dense fog
becomes more widespread during the early morning hours, a dense
fog advisory may be needed.
