* FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 6 PM HST WEDNESDAY.

* LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN MAY PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 3 INCHES OR
MORE. IF THESE AMOUNTS OCCUR WITHIN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME...FLASH
FLOODING MAY OCCUR.

* IN ADDITION TO POSSIBLE FLASH FLOODING...EXCESSIVE RUNOFF MAY
RESULT IN ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN STEEP TERRAIN. FAST MOVING
WATERS MAY CREATE LIFE THREATENING SITUATIONS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS VERY DANGEROUS. REMEMBER

* IMPACTS...HIGH...EXPECT OCEAN WATER OCCASIONALLY SWEEPING ACROSS
PORTIONS OF BEACHES...VERY STRONG BREAKING WAVES AND STRONG
CURRENTS. BREAKING WAVES MAY OCCASIONALLY IMPACT HARBORS EXPOSED
TO THE SWELL...MAKING NAVIGATING THE HARBOR CHANNEL DANGEROUS.

STAY OUT OF THE WATER AND WELL AWAY FROM THE SHORELINE ALONG THE
AFFECTED COASTS. INEXPERIENCED PERSONS SHOULD REMAIN OFF BEACHES
AND ADJACENT BEACHFRONT AREAS. LARGE BREAKING SURF...SIGNIFICANT
SHOREBREAK...AND DANGEROUS CURRENTS MAKE ENTERING THE WATER VERY
