...TROPICAL STORM WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT...

...PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

PREPARATIONS SHOULD BE MADE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, BEFORE CONDITIONS
DETERIORATE. KEEP INFORMED WHILE LISTENING FOR POSSIBLE WARNINGS.
SECURE LOOSE OUTDOOR OBJECTS WHICH CAN BE BLOWN AROUND. STRONGLY
CONSIDER EVACUATING IF YOU LIVE IN A MOBILE HOME, AND DO SO IF
ORDERED BY LOCAL OFFICIALS. BOAT OWNERS AND CAPTAINS OF SMALL
CRAFT NEED TO DETERMINE THE BEST STRATEGY FOR SECURING THEIR
CRAFT.

&&

...WINDS AND SEAS...
AS TROPICAL STORM 27W MOVES CLOSER, THE THREAT FOR SUSTAINED HIGH
WINDS IS LIKELY TO INCREASE. THE LATEST FORECAST IS FOR TROPICAL
STORM FORCE WINDS FROM THIS MORNING TO LATE THIS AFTERNOON.

MINOR DAMAGE TO LESS SUBSTANTIAL STRUCTURES IS POSSIBLE...AS ARE
ISOLATED POWER OUTAGES AND DOWNED PALM FRONDS.

SEAS WILL BUILD TO BETWEEN 12 AND 14 FEET BY TODAY. SURF OF 10 TO
14 FEET IS POSSIBLE ALONG NORTH AND WEST FACING REEFS.

...STORM SURGE AND STORM TIDE...
STORM SURGE OF UP TO 1 FOOT IS POSSIBLE...MAINLY ON EAST AND SOUTH
FACING SHORES. MOST VULNERABLE AREAS WILL BE FROM PAGO BAY TO
MERIZO ON GUAM.

...INLAND FLOODING...
2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAINFALL ACCUMULATION IS POSSIBLE DURING THE
PASSAGE OF TROPICAL STORM 27W. THESE AMOUNTS ARE SUFFICIENT TO
CAUSE FLOODING IN POOR DRAINAGE AREAS. CLEAR THE DRAINAGE SYSTEMS
IN YOUR AREA IF THEY ARE CLOGGED.
