...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 AM EST SUNDAY...
...FREEZE WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING THROUGH MONDAY
MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a
Freeze Watch, which is in effect from Sunday evening through
Monday morning.

* Temperatures...Upper 20s to low 30s.

* Locations...Much of North Georgia including the Atlanta metro.

* Winds...Southwest winds will increase to 15 to 20 mph with
higher gusts during the late afternoon. This evening, winds
will shift to the northwest behind a cold front with speeds
increasing to 20 to 25 mph with gusts of 35 mph.

* Timing...Until 7 AM Sunday for Wind Advisory. Freeze Watch is
from 10 PM Sunday to 9 AM Monday.

* Impacts...Strong winds will bring down large tree limbs and some
weaker trees. Unsecured outdoor items may be blown
around. Impacts from freezing temperatures include damage to
sensitive vegetation. Take steps to protect plants from the
cold. Also take steps to protect pets from the cold
temperatures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph...or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.

A Freeze Watch means sub-freezing temperatures are possible.
These conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.
