...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Dense
Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 11 AM EST this morning.

* Locations...Most of west Georgia including portions of Atlanta
metro.

* Visibilities...A quarter mile or less.

* Timing...Now through 11 am.

* Impacts...Reduced visibility will result in hazardous travel
conditions this morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

...Locally dense fog likely tonight through Monday morning for
much of North and Central Georgia...

Areas of fog will continue to develop across much of the area
overnight, mainly north of a Columbus to Athens line.
Visibilities may be reduced to below 1 mile. Motorists are urged
to slow down and exercise caution. Increase the distance between
you and the vehicle in front of you. Visibilities will slowly
improve by midday Monday.
