Smoke from a lightning-induced wildfire near Rockledge yesterday
continues to burn and smolder. High humidity and light winds shifting
southwest will cause smoke to spread and cross over Interstate 95
posing a significant hazard to driving with visibilities capable of
dropping to below one-quarter mile within short distances.
A weakening frontal trough will slowly sag toward Central Florida.
This boundary...combined with afternoon heating and associated
moisture...will again support storms. Showers and storms will become
scattered to numerous during the afternoon and into this evening...

Storms will be generally slow in movement and will have the potential
for locally heavy rain and frequent lightning. A few locations could
realize several inches of rain. Storm motion will be generally toward
the northeast around 10 mph.
