The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a
* Flood Advisory for...
Northeastern and east central Brevard County in Florida...
* Until 300 AM EDT
* At 127 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
Between one and two and a half inches of rain have already fallen.
* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Rockledge, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach and Satellite Beach.
Additional rainfall of around one inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
