GLOUCESTER COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY...
NEW CASTLE COUNTY IN NORTHERN DELAWARE...
BURLINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY...
SALEM COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY...

* UNTIL 500 AM EDT

* AT 1255 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS FROM NORTHERN DELAWARE INTO SOUTHWESTERN
NEW JERSEY. THE THUNDERSTORMS ARE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING RAINFALL OF
AN INCH OR TWO OVER A SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THE HEAVY RAIN MAY
CAUSE FLOODING OF ROADWAYS, AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE AND SMALL
STREAMS AND CREEKS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE
INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE
USUALLY DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS
POWERFUL ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING
FLOODED ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.
