HIGH TIDE...BETWEEN 5 PM AND 11 PM. MINOR COASTAL FLOODING LIKELY
WITH THE TUESDAY MORNING HIGH TIDE CYCLE.

* COASTAL FLOOD IMPACTS...MINOR FLOODING OF THE MOST VULNERABLE
WATERFRONT AND SHORELINE ROADS AND/OR ADJACENT PROPERTIES DUE TO
HEIGHT OF STORM TIDE OR WAVE SPLASHOVER. MAJORITY OF ROADS
REMAIN PASSABLE WITH ONLY ISOLATED CLOSURES.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...ELEVATED WATER LEVELS IN COMBINATION WITH
ROUGH SURF MAY CAUSE MINOR BEACH EROSION AND SPLASHOVER ALONG

EASTERN UNION...HUDSON...WESTERN BERGEN...WESTERN ESSEX AND
WESTERN UNION. IN SOUTHEAST NEW YORK...BRONX...KINGS

* THROUGH LATE TONIGHT.

* LOW PRESSURE MOVES JUST SOUTH AND EAST OF THE REGION TONIGHT
INTO TUESDAY. MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
TONIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS AROUND 1 TO 2 INCHES...WITH LOCALLY
HIGHER AMOUNTS APPROACHING 3 INCHES ARE EXPECTED. THE HIGHEST
AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED CLOSER TO THE COAST.

* IMPACTS: IF THE HIGH END RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE REALIZED...THIS
WILL RESULT IN MODERATE URBAN FLOODING AND MINOR SMALL STREAM
FLOODING IN NORTHEASTERN NJ AND THE LOWER HUDSON VALLEY.
ADDITIONALLY...THE COINCIDENCE OF LINGERING EFFECTS OF HIGH TIDE
WITH THE HEAVY RAIN THIS EVENING COULD EXACERBATE FLOODING ALONG
THE COASTAL WATERFRONT AND SHORELINE ROADS. THIS INCLUDES ALONG
TIDALLY AFFECTED RIVERS...SUCH AS THE PASSAIC...HACKENSACK...AND
HUDSON RIVERS.

A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR FLOODING BASED ON
CURRENT FORECASTS. YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE
