MOUNTAIN VALLEY...THE SANGRE DE CRISTO AND WET MOUNTAINS BELOW
10000 FEET...NORTHERN EL PASO COUNTY.

* CAUSE AND TIMING...A VIGOROUS SPRING STORM SYSTEM MOVING
ACROSS WESTERN ARIZONA THIS MORNING WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE INTO
THE FOUR CORNERS REGION LATER TONIGHT BEFORE MOVING ACROSS THE
STATE THROUGH FRIDAY EVENING. THIS STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING
PERIODS OF HEAVY SPRING SNOW TO THE AREA...ESPECIALLY FOR
LOCATIONS ABOVE 6000 FEET IN ELEVATION...LATER THIS AFTERNOON
WHICH WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY ON FRIDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATION...6 TO 12 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
ABOVE 9000 FEET.

* IMPACT...SNOW AND SNOW COVERED ROADS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS
WEATHER AND TRAVEL CONDITIONS. ACCUMULATING SNOW ON TREE
BRANCHES AND POWER LINES COULD LEAD TO TREE DAMAGE AND POWER
OUTAGES.
